Modules
The Professional Standards Project provides a set of 14 modules as professional learning materials as a basis for the professional learning program to be conducted in each state and territory. The modules are divided into three streams; Stream A modules aim to familiarise teachers with the Standards; Stream B modules focus on educational theory and practice, language and culture and language pedagogy; Stream C modules are an exploration of assessment: current practices, as a focus for learning, as providing evidence of learning, and assessment as ongoing classroom inquiry. Teachers participating in Stream B will undertake ongoing classroom investigations.
The modules can be downloaded by clicking on the links below, or scroll down to browse.
